MELANIA LANCY (Scenic Designer) has designed sets for Signal Ensemble’s Catch-22, Landslide, Seascape, She Stoops to Conquer, Closer, The Weir (Jeff Citation nomination) and Hamlet. She received her B.F.A. in 1998 from Rhode Island School of Design, where she studied illustration and architecture. Melania’s credits include commercial sculptures for the Brookfield Zoo, Sea World of Texas, “The Great Train Story,” at the Museum of Science and Industry, and a multitude of exhibits ranging from the Woods Gerry Gallery to the Wells Street Art Festival. Melania’s theatrical set designs include: Nefertiti, the Musical, Half Life, Antigone, Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, Noises Off, The Sound of Music, A Devil Inside and Cinderella.
