KEVIN ASSELIN (Violence Designer) returns to Signal after fight-directing Hamlet. He is currently the Fight Instructor for the Classical Training Project at Chicago Shakespeare Theater where he has also choreographed productions of The Three Musketeers, Short Shakespeare! Macbeth, and assisted on Romeo and Juliet. Kevin has also worked as a fight director and teacher with Writers Theatre, Apple Tree, Summer Shakespeare at Notre Dame, Montana Shakespeare in the Parks, Dolphin Back Theatre, Illinois Rep., Struthers Library Theatre, Off Square Theatre, University of Notre Dame and Plymouth State University. He recently received his Advanced Certification with the Fight Directors of Canada, and holds an M.F.A. in Acting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
