Aaron Snook
is in his fourth season with Signal Ensemble, joining after appearing
as Claudio in Much
Ado About Nothing. Other performances with Signal include
Laertes in Hamlet,
Dan in Closer,
Vladimir in Waiting
for Godot, a slew of characters, including the Texan and
Whitcomb, in Catch-22,
and Leslie in Seascape,
for which he was nominated for a Jeff Citation award. Additionally,
he served as assistant director, dramaturg, and played the role
of Diggory in She
Stoops to Conquer. He directed The
Dumb Waiter last season. Other Chicago credits include
Nat in Only the Sound for Chicago Dramatists, where he
is an Associate Artist, and Gene in A Devil Inside for
the Right Brain Project. Outside of Chicago, he has been a member
of Footprint on the Sun in Los Angeles and the Camden Shakespeare
Company in Camden, Maine. A graduate of Duke University with a double
major in drama and English, Aaron also studied with the American
Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. He currently holds the position
of Director of Development for the Signal.
