Ronan Marra

 

Ronan is a co-founder and General Artistic Director of Signal Ensemble Theatre. Directing credits with the company include Hamlet, Closer, The Zoo Story, Seascape (1 Jeff Citation), Waiting for Godot, (Jeff Recommended), his own Landslide (2 Jeff Citation nominations including New Work), She Stoops to Conquer, Much Ado About Nothing and his own Learning to Fly. He has also directed for Sanscullottes, The Gallery Players (NYC) and several productions at his alma mater, Kent State University. As a playwright, Ronan's plays have been produced or workshopped in Chicago, NYC, LA and Cleveland, and he has received awards for New Work at ITN Theatre and Neverland Productions in NYC. Ronan is a recipient of the 2006 Illinois Arts Council Finalist Award in Scriptworks.
