Meredith Bell

Meredith first appeared onstage with Signal Ensemble as Hero in their summer production of Much Ado About Nothing in 2003. Shortly thereafter, she became one of the original company members of Signal Ensemble. Her second credit with Signal came in the summer of 2004 for its critically acclaimed rendition of Joseph Heller's Catch-22 in which Meredith played five different characters including Luciana, Nurse Duckett, Nately's Whore, and Mrs. Daneeka. Most recently, Meredith came back to the Signal stage as Constance Neville in She Stoops to Conquer at the Chopin Theatre. Her other Chicago credits include Rosalind in As You Like It, Titania/Hippolyta in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Rosaura in Life Is a Dream, Hisperia in As You Like It, and Stephanie in Losing Rachel. While receiving her training at Northwestern University, Meredith also performed as Olivia in Twelfth Night, The Chorus in Medea, Elizabeth Almond in The Heiress, and Vincentio in The Taming of the Shrew. During her summer breaks from Northwestern, Meredith trained in Europe with The London Academy of Theatre.
